100 people suggest you 100 ways. At last it is you to decide what path to follow. Your decision should not follow other person's words blindly. You can consult people regarding any topic asking their help, taking their opinions etc. That's what called Learning from Association. That's how you can gain knowledge. But do what your heart says. Do it heartfully. Or else you can't concentrate on the work. You can't enjoy the results. Where there is a will, there is a way. No interest, no development. So listen to your heart. Select the field in which you are interested, try a start. You never stop or leave the path in the middle till you reach your goal, and you become successful.
